Bookings
Should you wish to bring a group to Great Dixter, please telephone
the office 01797 252878, ext. 3, or email groupbookings@greatdixter.co.uk
to check availability. We will then send you our information sheets
and a booking form. When you have completed the booking form, please
return it to us with a £40.00 deposit (a cheque or bank card
details are fine).
We will then confirm your booking in writing. Some coach companies
may prefer to use a system of vouchers. We are happy to accept vouchers,
but only within the United Kingdom, and we do have a handling charge
of £10.00. Should a voucher payment not be forthcoming within
14 days, we will cancel any other bookings you may have made.
It is possible to book groups in at Great Dixter during times when
we are closed to the general public. The rates for these times are
shown below under the heading ’Out of normal opening times.’

Tuesdays to Sundays, the Gardens will open at 11.00 to 17.30hrs.
Last admissions to the Gardens at 17.00 hrs. The House is open from
14.00 – 17.00 hrs.

Garden Tours
We offer a service of one-hour garden tours to groups, with one
of our gardeners, which can be booked at the same time as your
group booking. The garden tours take place upon arrival.
Garden Tour Fees
£98.00, VAT incl. Maximum group size, 25. If you have a
large group you may wish to book two tour guides.
The Great Dixter Christmas Fair
Sat & Sun, 27th and 28th November
2010
Great Dixter is delighted to announce our Christmas
Fair which will take place in the Great and Yeomans Halls, surrouding
barns and out buildings. With an opportunity to see the garden
in winter then warm yourself by an open fire in the house.
Our diverse stalls will include products from our own shop and
nursery including potted bulbs and unusual gift ideas, as well
as stalls hosted by local craftsmen such as vintage tools, seeds,
and stalls for all gift needs: including cashmere knitwear, jewellery,
scented candles and handmade gifts for all sized pockets. The
Gardens, Nursery and Gift Shop will be open to the public for
the weekend of the fair. Fresh, hot food and light refreshments
will be available.
Time: 10am to 4pm
Entrance Fee: £5.00 (Under 16 free)
