1% for the planet

In December 2023 Great Dixter was accepted as an Environmental Partner of 1% for the Planet. This partnership is intended to increase our impact as well as involve more businesses in the work which is important to us.

1% for the Planet is a global network with thousands of businesses and environmental organizations working together to support people and the planet.

Over 5200 business members support more than 6700 approved environmental partners by donating the equivalent of 1% of sales through a combination of monetary, in-kind and approved promotional expenses. Business members have given over $585 million to environmental partners since 2002.
