Finance Assistant
Immediate Start
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Great Dixter as Finance Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm. Working in a small team, the position will support the Finance Manager in the preparation and maintenance of the accounting records and accounting controls, including preparing ad hoc reports, recording entries on Sage and reconciling cash, bank, Shopify and EPOS.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a Finance Team. We would particularly welcome applications from those interested in studying for a bookkeeping or accountancy qualification such as AAT. Support for training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Seasonal Guides
Seasonal guides required for conducting house tours at Great Dixter House and Gardens.
Our team of House Guides work on a rota basis and new guides are required for approximately three hours per week initially, including some weekends.
You will need to be welcoming & confident enough to talk to a large group. French or German speaking an advantage.
