Tradition and Innovation in one day
A visit to Pashley Manor Gardens followed by a visit to Great Dixter.
Begin your day in the traditional splendor of the gardens at Pashley Manor followed by lunch (not included in the price) and then on to Great Dixter House and Gardens.
Price: £27.00 per person (unless during the Tulip Festival- this will be £28) – for groups of 15 or over with a £1.00 per person extra discount if the group is over 25 people.
Pashley Manor is a quintessential English garden located on the Sussex and Kent border in the heart of South East England’s garden country. Pashley offers a sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping, imaginative plantings, and fine old trees, fountains, springs and large ponds. We recommend a minimum of two hours to visit the Gardens, however, most groups stay much longer than this, enjoying the delicious lunches and teas available from the Garden Room Café. Gardens and Guards
An opportunity to enjoy a tour of Great Dixter house and its gardens, followed by a cream tea aboard a steam-hauled train on the Kent & East Sussex Railway.
Coach parties arrive at Great Dixter at 10.00 am for a private tour of the house and a chance to see the exuberant gardens. At 1.30 pm it’s on to the nearby Kent & East Sussex Railway station in Northiam, to catch the 1:45 pm steam train to Bodiam, which then returns to Tenterden just after 3.00 pm. The party will enjoy a cream tea on the trip from Bodiam, whilst viewing the superb scenery of the Rother Valley and High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
You can arrange for your coach to collect your party from Tenterden at 3:05pm or return on the same train after a 25 minute turn-around to Northiam arriving at 4:05pm.
